From this point until I decide to change it, I will post a tribute to someone or something, pretty much at random.

Eternal Lands

Ok, so here is what happened. I went over to my friend's dorm and he downloaded Unreal Tournament 2003 and started playing it. We both thought it was very cool and played it quite a bit. He told me that I should install it when I got home. I worked for quite a while trying to get it to work, but since ATI doesn't make drivers for 64-bit Linux, my efforts were to no avail. I emerged UT2003, but since it didn't work, I looked around for games not so graphic intensive. I stumbled on Eternal Lands.

This is a MMORPG, which is something like Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. You run around killing stuff and doing stuff with what you get. It doesn't sound all that appealing, but it is amazing at how fast you can get addicted. I won't bore you with all the details of this game, but really it is pretty amazing at the complexity of the world you play in. And one tip. Try hard not to die, only attack what you know you can kill.
